Musharraf treason case: Special court summons head of intelligence agency

ISLAMABAD: The special court formed to try the former President Pervez Musharraf for high treason on Wednesday summoned the head of the intelligence agency, which informed about threats of attack on the former president, to appear before it on Thursday.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab and comprising Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Yawar Ali resumed hearing the treason case against Musharraf in Islamabad on Wednesday.

During the hearing, Justice Faisal Arab said the court should be apprised of the security threats faced by Pervez Musharraf.

Later, the special court adjourned the hearing till tomorrow (Thursday).
