ISLAMABAD: The South Korean Prime Minister Chung Hong-won will pay a four-day visit to Pakistan from April 13 for high-level talks on boosting political and economic cooperation.

Chung will be the top South Korean government official to visit Pakistan since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1983, according to his office.

The South Korean premier is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, culture and development sectors, with a focus on helping South Korean businesses expand into the South Asian nation.
