Kharkov:  Gennady Kernes, the mayor of the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkov has been shot in the back by unidentified gunmen, the city council’s press service reports.
According to local media reports, he was shot while he was jogging at morning and he was shifted to local hospital. The City Hall’s website says that doctors are fighting to save his life.
