NCAG to start a unique show `Nomadic Footstep' in Islamabad on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD: The Nomad Centre and Art Gallery (NCAG) will start a unique show titled ‘Nomadic Footsteps’ in Islamabad on Tuesday featuring photos, inspired text, watercolors and mix media, based on Nomad’s team personal intriguing travels in country and abroad.

The show will continue till June 16 and it will depict the celebration of rich cultures encompassing an African odyssey and country’s rich local vibes – the seductive allure of our land, people and mountains.

The Nomad’s ‘Shanaakht’ team members comprised of the NCAG curator, Nageen Hayat, Riffat Khattak and Nadeem Ahmed.

“Through visual `Storytelling’ and the written word is the most appropriate way to share my experience of the joy and pleasure of my memorable trip to the Walled City of Lahore and an inspiring visit to Shigar and Khaplu in Skardu, North Pakistan,” said Nageen Hayat while expressing her experiences.

Nageen Hayat said that these visits spanned myriad reflections and memories of the historic and cultural ambiance of Pakistan encompassing exquisite renovations leading to contemporary splendor in Skardu.

The show will be held from 10.30am to 7pm.
