PESHAWAR: A passenger van hit an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Khomta area of Kurram tribal region on Tuesday morning that left at least eight persons killed and six others injured.
The van was on its way from central Khurram region to the area of Parachinar when it struck an IED planted on the roadside.
The injured were shifted to Agency Headquarters Hospital Parachinar.
