PESHAWAR: Three policemen were killed and two others sustained injuries in two separate attacks in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s capital Peshawar on Friday.
An improvised explosive device (IED) targeting a police van went off in Akazai area of Torghar district that left at least two policemen dead and two others injured.
The police van was on a routine patrol when the blast took place, the Jutba police official said.
In another incident, a sub-inspector was killed when two motorcyclists opened fire on him on Charsadda Road in Peshawar.
