PESHAWAR: A remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) went off in Qayyumabad area of Safi tehsil in Mohmand agency that left an official of the tribal Khasadar force killed.
The security team reached the blast site and cordoned off the area as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Moreover, 11 suspects were taken into custody by security personnel in a subsequent search operation launched in the area.
