ISLAMABAD: The Saudi Arabian airlines has also reportedly suspended its flights to Peshawar over security concerns.
Three Middle Eastern airlines including Emirates airline, Etihad airways and Qatar airways have already suspended their flight operations for Pakistan’s northern city following an attack by the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport.
On late Tuesday night, the militants for the TTP opened fire on a PIA flight at the airport which subsequently left a woman passenger dead and two crew members injured.
