RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The fighter jets pounded militant hideouts in the Jamrud and Bara areas of the Khyber tribal region early on Friday, and killed at least 15 militants.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that three hideouts of the militants were also destroyed in strikes which were carried out by in Sipah, Malakdinkhel and Chapri areas of Jamrud.
The latest strikes were carried as part of the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb launched on June 15 against the militants hiding in the tribal areas.
