DHAKA: Bangladesh President Zillur Rahman passed away on Wednesday in a Singapore hospital after suffering from kidney and respiratory problems, embassy officials said.
The 84-year-old veteran ruling party politician died at a hospital in Singapore where he was being treated for kidney and respiratory problems at 6.47 pm local time, Bangladesh High Commissioner in Singapore M. Mahbubuzzaman said.
