ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The famous TV talk show host Shaista Lodhi has apparently tied the knot and plans to restart her program on Geo soon.
In her twitter message, Shaista Lodhi quoted a Quranic verse about marriage which says “then He has established relationships of lineage & marriage: for your Lord has power.”

Shaista Lodhi, a mother of three children, also reportedly plans to restart her program on Geo Television Network soon and is holding discussion with the channel administration in this regard.
“Most probably she will restart her morning show after Eid,” a source was quoted as saying by media.
Shaista got a divorce from her first husband in 2012.
In May 2014, her morning show “Utho Jago Pakistan” was suspended by the Geo administration after it allegedly contained blasphemous content, causing a widespread condemnation and criticism.
Though Shaista Lodhi publicly apologized saying that the offence was ‘inadvertent and unintentional’. However, it did not pacify peoples’ anger and eventually she left Pakistan because of fears for her safety.
Shaista Lodhi returned to Pakistan earlier this month with her three children.
