ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai has condemned the recent terrorist attack at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base in Peshawar and said his country will never allow its land to be used against Pakistan by anyone.

The condemnation came when the Afghan president held a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday, according a statement issued by the PM House.

The statement said that the Afghan president also extended his heartfelt condolences on demise of civil and military personal in Peshawar incident.

On Friday, at least 29 people including Pakistan army captain Asfandyar Bukhari and 23 PAF personnel were martyred when a group of terrorists attacked the PAF Camp in Peshawar’s Badaber area.

Later, the Pakistan military said that the attackers of Badaber had come from Afghanistan and the attack was planned and coordinated from the neighboring country.

In an interview on Sunday, the Advisor on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz also said that initial investigation into Badaber attack has proved terrorists’ contacts within Afghanistan and it will be shared with the Afghan authorities on completion.

The advisor said that there is evidence that terrorists received phone calls from Afghanistan, adding that further investigation is underway.
