ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has lauded the professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and its contribution in the military operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists.
The appreciation came when the Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman called on the prime minister at the PM House in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed professional and organizational matters of the PAF.
A total of 23 PAF personnel including three technicians were among 29 people who were martyred in the deadly terror attack on the PAF Camp in Peshawar’s Badaber last Friday.
On Monday, the air chief visited the PAF Camp in Badaber where he met the PAF personnel and prayed for the martyrs of Badaber incident and lauded the valiant response of the airmen who fought bravely during the recent terrorist attack on the camp.
“We will never let the terrorists succeed in their nefarious designs and PAF would do whatever,” Sohail Aman said on the occasion.
The air chief said that war against terror is war of our future and the enemy should know that no one can shake our resolve to safeguard the motherland. He said that loyalty to the country is the first and foremost duty of each one of us.
