ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday imposed a ban on the posting and transfers of the government officials across the country during the next general elections, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
In a notification issued on Tuesday by the ECP, the Election Commission also barred the president, provincial governors, caretaker prime minister, chairman Senate, deputy chairman Senate, interim chief ministers and advisors from visiting electoral constituencies.
