KARACHI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that we will continue to play our part in ensuring secure environment for business and entrepreneurship in Pakistan by both local and foreign investors.

While speaking during his visit to the Thar Coal Project on Wednesday, the COAS said that internal security situation in the Country has largely improved paving way for foreign investment in Pakistan, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

During his visit, the COAS was a given detailed briefing on the progress of the pilot projects.

The Managing Director Fauji Fertilizer Company Lieutenant General (retd) Tariq Khan received the COAS upon his arrival.

Earlier, the Army Chief accompanied by the Commander Karachi Corps Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz visited forward troops in Gadra Sector Sindh on Wednesday.

The COAS said on the occasion that Pakistan army is fully committed to guard the frontiers of the Country. He commended operational preparedness and high state of morale of the troops.
