ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the National Institute for Strategic Studies of the Kyrgyz Republic (NISS KR) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Islamabad.
The event was graced by Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Erik Beishembiev and the President CGSS Major General (retd) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery.
As per the MoU, it was agreed that both research centers will jointly work to promote subject of common interest and develop plans to amplify the relationship between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan and to strengthen the mutual visits and communication, exchange experiences and views, and develop plans to promote corporation between the think tanks of the two Countries.
They will also make joint endeavors to enhance the cultural commonalities between the two Countries.
The event was also attended by the Kyrgyz Embassy Staff and the CGSS team including the Federal Secretary Information and Broadcasting Ashfaq Ahmed Gondal, the Member Advisory Board CGSS and the Managing executive CGSS Mehreen Gul.
