ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt. General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch said that the government would not tolerate any conspiracy against the democracy particularly in the name of accountability.
Talking to a private news channel he said, the opposition parties should make demands falls within the parameters of democratic traditions.
“We think that talks should also be held with the opposition on the issue of TORs of the commission”, the Minister said in reference to a Judicial Commission to probe the Panama Papers allegations.
“We want that all cases including written off loans should be investigated. The prime minister has already presented himself for accountability. But the Opposition is only targeting prime minister”, Abdul Qadir Baloch said.
