ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that fight against terrorists will be fought holistically through diplomacy, intelligence, law enforcement and military might and every tool will be used for it.
The premier made these remarks while chairing a follow up meeting on the implementation of national action plan on countering terrorism and extremism in Islamabad on Thursday afternoon.
During the meeting, the prime minister said that the entire nation and political leadership is united in the fight against terrorism.
Sharif said that indiscriminate action would be taken against terrorists and their sympathizers.
The prime minister said that implementation of the action plan is the top priority of the government. He said that by taking effective measures at the right time we will achieve success.
“We will make sure the sacrifices of our law enforcement agencies and the blood spilled in Peshawar do not go waste,” Sharif said.
Nawaz Sharif vowed that we will not only fight terrorism but will also prevent it. “We’ll take the war to the hideouts of terrorists.”
“We will support our armed forces and law enforcement agencies to keep Pakistan and our children safe in the days and years to come,” he added.
