ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would arrange exhibition of autumn flowers and chrysanthemum flowers at Rose and Jasmine Garden from December 4 to 6, 2015.

Different species of autumn flowers and chrysanthemum flowers would be displayed during the upcoming exhibition while participation of different departments in the upcoming autumn flowers show would also be ensured.

Talking to this news agency, an official of CDA that such exhibitions are the best source of amusement, entertainment and recreational facility, directing the concerned formations of the Authority to invite school children, college students so that they could enjoy this facility.

He said that Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal directed for provision of technical expertise to the flowers lovers during the exhibition for their encouragement.

Chairman CDA, directed the all concerned to establish tuck shops and other recreational facilities for the children during the flowers exhibition including various rare species of birds.

Official said that autumn flowers and chrysanthemum flowers show has become an annual festivity in Islamabad and people from all walks of life visits the flowers exhibition from twin cities of Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas.

He said that besides CDA other departments including Allama Iqbal Open University, Quaid-e-Azam University, SUPARCO, KRL, RDA, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force and Combined Military Hospital etc. takes active part in the annual autumn flowers exhibition.

He said that in line with directions of Chairman this year, more departments would be invited to participate in the exhibition enthusiastically, while active participation of citizens, particularly, the children would also be ensured.

Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal also lauded the hectic efforts of Islamabad Horticulture Society for organizing such successful flowers exhibition and promoting the culture of flowers in Islamabad and said that the society would play its active role in promoting the healthy, entertainment, recreational and amusement activities among the public.
