ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal government has announced that ‘one Salaat and one Azaan system’ will be implemented from Friday in the Federal Capital. Â
In his address at a conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said that the visiting Imam-e-Ka’aba Dr Sheikh Khaled al-Ghamidi will make announcement in this regards in Juma prayers at Faisal Masjid in Islamabad.
The Imam-e-Ka’aba is currently in Islamabad on a week-long visit to Pakistan.
No one can harm Pak-Saudi ties: Imam-e-Ka’aba
Meanwhile, addressing a joint news conference along with the religious affairs minister in Islamabad on Wednesday, Dr Sheikh Khalid Al Ghamidi said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are brotherly countries and no one can harm these relationships.
The Imam-e-Ka’aba said that friendly relations between the two countries are getting strengthened with every passing day.
Sheikh Khalid al-Ghamidi expressed profound thanks to the people of Pakistan for according him a very warm welcome.
On the occasion, the religious affairs minister said that we have deep rooted brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia. He also thanked the Imam for his visit to Pakistan and well wishes for the country.
