KARACHI: A political activist among four other people was gunned down in separate incidents of violence across the city, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Tuesday.
Rehan, a political activist, who was deeply hurt yesterday in a firing incident, succumbed to injuries today. Subsequently, tension prevailed in Gulbahar area of the city. Shops, markets and other activities were shut in the area.
On the other hand, city’s traders staged a protest against a cracker attack that occurred yesterday on the residence of a local trader Fayaz in Landhi 89 area. They blocked the roads in Malir, demanding adequate security to the traders’ community.
Two other persons were shot dead in separate firing incidents that occurred in Shaheed-e-Millat Road and Vita Chowrangi, Korangi. Likewise, a man was killed in a firing incident in Manzoor Colony.
DND
