Unknown gunman opened fire at Hamid Mir’s car while he was on his way to office in Karachi. According to intial reports Hamid was being followed when he left for office from Karachi Airport. Firing on Hamid Mir proves that Government has failed to provide safeguard to its citizens. So far no outlawed organization has claimed responsibility of the incident which took place a while ago in Karachi.
At the moment all the anchors are considering this incident as attack on pakistani journalism. Hamid Mir was already under threat and today an unknown gunman wearing white shalwar kameez ambushed at his car while  he was enroute from Airport to Geo office.
