Head of Pakistani soldiers—-Trophies for terrorists?

Responding to announcement of Taliban not to engage in any negotiations, federal government slowly but may be surely moving to engage in heaven of terrorists —North Waziristan. This situation is critical for religious parties that are trying to negotiate a truce and peace deal with Taliban.
Seasoned politician Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday called Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif from Delhi and demanded him to stop military operation in North Waziristan tribal region. JUI-F chief who is in New Delhi tried to convince Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that the government should try to solve the issue through dialogue instead of conducting an operation in North Waziristan. He further demanded of the government to remove the imposed curfew in the area and allow the injured persons to get medical treatment.
Sources in armed forces claim that operation was against international and foreign terrorists the security forces killed 8 Uzbek in a search operation at Mirali Tehsil of North Waziristan. These foreign terrorists were waging Jihad against Pakistan Army and despite commitment of religious parties to clean this area from foreign terrorists, such elements are still harbouring there. Recent response of Pakistan Army is in reaction as a group of militants tried to ambush a security forces’ convoy when it was returning back from Khajuri check post area in Mirali Tehsil of North Waziristan on Wednesday. When army sent rescue party, it faced stiff response from terrorists. Some sources claim that dead soldiers were found without heads because they were slaughtered before their death and terrorists took away their heads with them like warriors of predator’s era. Head of Pakistani soldiers are actually trophies for terrorists.
This is not a new or innovative idea of using heads of enemies as trophies. Taliban used to exhibit enemy’s head when they were fighting against so-called northern alliance way back in 1995-97. Some television anchors believe that concept of “Zibah” (slaughter) is only followed by Pakistani Taliban that is contrary to facts because slaughtering had been a part of war history of Afghanistan. Difference is only one—“Owner of the Head”. In past heads belonged to Russians, people of Panshar valley, Daniel Pearl or other enemies and now these are of soldiers of Pakistan Army that had Taliban as its irregular army in past. Present can never be disconnected or disengage from Past but present can write the future. If Pakistan Army keeps resolve of attacking safe heavens of terrorists (North and South Waziristan) and clean these areas from terrorists, there are chances urban areas of Pakistan will have same situation as Taliban are spread all over the country during the 35 year Jihad on Allah Ki Rah. Situation is critical but needs action and this is time seasoned politicians like Mualana Fazlur Rehman should stand with Pakistan Army instead of standing with former students of his religious schools or religious schools of other politico-religio parties.
