Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani teenager, has become a worldwide recognized symbol of opposition to the Taliban’s drive to deny women education and against religious extremism since she was shot in the head by Taliban as she was returning home from school on October 9 last year.
On 12th July, in a powerful speech to the United Nations on her first public appearance since being shot by the Taliban as she was celebrating her 16th birth day, Malala vowed not to be silenced by terrorists.
