ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday reinstated Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, declaring the notification of the appointment of Najam Sethi as the board chief null and void.
The IHC judge Justice Noorul Haq N. Qureshi issued the order for reinstatement of Zaka Ashraf as the cricket board chairman.
The court also restored 38 others suspended employees of the PCB.
Sethi was appointed as the PCB chairman after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the patron-in-chief of the PCB, on February 10 dissolved the governing body of the cricket board and also sacked the then chairman Zaka Ashraf.
