ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan accompanied by a high level delegation will pay an official visit to Malaysia on November 20-21, 2018 (Imran khan visit to Malaysia).
This would be the first state visit by any foreign leader since Dr. Mahathir Mohamad assumed the Office in Kuala Lumpur in May 2018 and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s first bilateral visit to Malaysia.
In a press release issued by the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Thursday, it said that the two prime ministers will have a tête-à-tête followed by delegation-level talks.
“Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy warm brotherly relations founded in mutual respect friendship and understanding reinforced by strong cultural and religious affinities,” it said.
The Foreign Office said that the visit of the prime minister would provide an opportunity to further cement the Pakistan-Malaysia existing friendly and cordial bilateral relations by enhancing economic, trade and commercial ties for our mutual benefit.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ikram Bin Mohammad Ibrahim met the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad today and discussed in detail Prime Minister Imran Khan’s upcoming visit to Malaysia.
They also discussed measures to further enhance bilateral trade, investment, and people to people contacts.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed the desire to further strengthen relations with Malaysia in the political and economic spheres.
