Imran Khan’s Address to the Nation on March 31, 2022
Islamabad, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan who lost the majority in the National Assembly on Thursday when over 180 members of parliament gathered to vote him out addressed the nation on state-run television and said that he believed in an honored life and he could not bow down in front of anybody except all mighty Allah.
He said that on the coming Sunday the National Assembly would vote on the No-Confidence Motion against him and he would face and he has presented his case that foreign powers wanted to replace him and now it is the duty of patriotic politicians to decide the vote with their clear conscious.
He without mentioning the names of leaders of the opposition former President Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, he said three stooges are working against him because he stood against foreign countries.
He informed the nation at the start of his speech that he preferred to go live on state-run television instead of a recorded speech.
He mentioned that officials of that country were talking with the Ambassador of Pakistan and they were taking official notes of the conversation. He slipped his tongue and named America the country from where alleged threats came but then he avoided clearly saying it was America.
