SIALKOT, Pakistan: The Indian border security forces personnel resorted to unprovoked firing on working boundary in Pokhlian sector near Sialkot early Thursday morning.

However, no casualties were reported.

The military sources said that Pakistani border forces responded effectively to silence Indian guns.

The latest firing by the Indian troops came two days after the Director General Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India had a contact on hotline to discuss recent tension on the Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary, and agreed on the need for reduction of tension on the LoC.
