JERUSALEM: The Israel’s Iron Dome missile defence system intercepted only 8 out of nearly 120 rockets fired from the Gaza strip into the occupied Palestinian territories on Sunday, the Israeli army has admitted.
The Israeli army said that around 110 rockets struck the occupied territories fired by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
On Friday, the US Senate approved an additional $225 million in emergency funding for Israel’s missile defence system despite its deadly war on the Gaza strip.
