ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan army soldier has been martyred and another has seriously been injured in unprovoked firing by Indian troops from across the Line of Control (LoC) in the disputed region of Kashmir, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

The incident took place on Rawlakot’s Nezapir sector near the LoC at about 10:30 am on Saturday in which soldier Asim Iqbal was killed in the firing and soldier Naik Mohammad Khan was critically wounded.
