ISLAMABAD: The second round of strategic dialogue between the European Union (EU) and Pakistan is to begin in Brussels on Tuesday, the EU ambassador to Pakistan Lars-Gunnar Wigemark said while speaking at reception in Islamabad.
The EU ambassador said that the Pakistani premier’s advisor on national security and foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz would be traveling to Brussels soon to meet EU higher representative for foreign affairs and security policy to follow up the five year programme agreed between the two sides in 2012.
In reply to a question, the EU ambassador said that they would support whatever decision is taken by the democratically elected government of Pakistan about the dialogue process with the Taliban.
