ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are destined to grow further in the days to come.

In a meeting with the Chairman of Shura Council of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-sheikh who called on him in Islamabad on Monday, the prime minister said that Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations are deep rooted in common faith and culture.Chairman Majlis-e-Shura Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah Mohammad Al-Sheikh and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif

The prime minster said that the government and the people of Pakistan hold the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in high esteem.

Sharif said that anti-terrorism military Operation Zarb e Azb launched after political consensus has yielded many fruitful results and that the terrorists are now on the run and hitting soft targets.

Nawaz Sharif said that democracy in Pakistan is flourishing and today’s Parliament is much more democratic as well as vibrant.

On this occasion, the Chairman Majlis-e-Shura said that exchange of parliamentary delegations would strengthen the bonds of friendship between our two brotherly countries as both sides share identical views on regional and international level.
