ISLAMABAD: The delegations from the Chinese State Engineering Corporation and the China Power company held separate meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM house in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meetings, the prime minister assured full security and cooperation to Chinese companies investing in various projects in Pakistan.
The delegation from the Chinese State Engineering Corporation apprised the prime minister of its interest in different infrastructure projects in Pakistan.
The prime minister lauded the role played by the Chinese State Engineering Corporation in building of infrastructure and said development of infrastructure is part and parcel for a vibrant economy.
In another meeting, the delegation from the China Power highlighted different ventures undertaken by the company in infrastructure and other development projects in Pakistan.
The Pakistani premier was told that the Power China is playing an active part in the energy aspect of China-Pakistan economic corridor besides setting up two 660 megawatt power plants at Port Qasim and Gadani.
