MUSCAT, Oman: Pakistan participated in the 14th Food & Hospitality Exhibition held at Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat.
The exhibition being the biggest Event of Oman for the Food & Hospitality Sector, commenced on October 14 which would end on October 16.
Besides Pakistan 17 Countries are participating in the exhibition.
The Minister for Agriculture & Fisheries H.E Dr. Hammad Bin Saaed Al Awfi along with the Chairman Oman Expo Sayyid Khalid bin Hamed bin Hamoud Al Busaidi inaugurated the exhibition.
The Charge d’ Affairs (a.i) besides other notables was the ‘guest of honour’ at the Inaugural Session of the exhibition which aims to provide participating companies with opportunities to explore the potential of local market and enhance their business in Oman by having B2B meetings with other counterparts.
Companies displaying individual stands at the exhibition hail from different Countries which include Pakistan, Jordan, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, United States, Iran, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indonesia, Turkey, South Africa, Ukraine, Cyprus, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Palestine, Tunisia, India and Oman.
Almost 10 Pakistani Companies are taking part in the Exhibition in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Pakistan Embassy in Muscat.
The Companies include M/s Tooba Rice Mills, M/s Karmanwala International, M/s Rice Masters, M/s Baba Farid Rice Mills, M/s Silver Lake Food Products Ltd, M/s Maqsood Floor and General Mills, M/s Mohammad Hashim Tajir Surma, M/s Marhaba Laboratories Pvt Ltd, M/s Pak Electron Beam Irradiation Pvt Ltd and M/s Z. G. Traders.
