NEW DELHI: Unknown motorcyclists attacked and tortured First Trade Secretary of Pakistan High Commission (PHC) Zargham Raza in the Indian capital New Delhi on Monday, triggering strong protest by the PHC with Indian authorities over the incident.
The PHC spokesman said that some unidentified assailants riding motorcycles attacked the official when he was heading to his residence.
The spokesman further said that the PHC has demanded of the Indian government to increase the security of its personnel and to provide protection under Vienna convention.
