ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The prime minister’s adviser on national security and foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be taken as its weakness.
In his address to media in Islamabad on Saturday after enquiring about the health of the Jamiat-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the adviser said that we are making efforts at the international level to make the UN Military Observers Mission more active.
The adviser said that Pakistan is fully responding the Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC).
Sartaj Aziz said that the government will send emissaries and delegations to different countries to inform them about the Indian aggression on the LoC and human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces.
The premier’s adviser said that Pakistan is highlighting human rights violations by the Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir where India has deployed 700,000 troops to suppress Kashmiris.
The advisor on Foreign Affairs said that India wants to resolve the Kashmir dispute in its own way and Pakistan will not allow this Indian attempt to succeed. He said that the UN resolutions on Kashmir cannot be ended in this way.
