ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s would-be Prime Minister and the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Thursday said Kashmiri’s had given tremendous sacrifices for independence, and offered neighboring India to negotiate to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir.
“If India takes one step, we will take two steps forward,” Imran Khan said while addressing the nation in his first victory speech at Banigala in Islamabad.
Imran Khan said they would have good relations with all the neighboring Countries. He said bilateral trade between Pakistan and India must be promoted.
The Chairman PTI said the foreign policy was a huge problem for them as a Country right now.
“We need better relations with our neighbors – China, Afghanistan, India – so we can focus on nation building,” Imran Khan said whose political party – PTI – won nearly 120 seats of Lower House of the Parliament as a result of general elections 2018 held across the Country on July 25.
Imran Khan also said his government would want the United States to have mutually beneficial relationship with Pakistan. He also pledged to have good relations with Afghanistan and the US too.
Emphasizing the importance of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Imran Khan said they would make relations with China stronger. He also underlined the significance of Pakistan’s strengthen and stable ties with Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Imran Khan said in the past, Pakistan made a mistake that it unnecessarily engaged itself in some one’s else war, adding they required to play a reconciliatory role in the Middle East to resolve problems rather than adding fuel to them.
Kashmiri leadership has appreciated speech of Imran Khan about Kashmir cause.
