ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said the chaos has been prevailing in the country due to Panama Cases and that had decreased the value of rupee.
While having informal talks with media representatives in Islamabad before the resumption of hearing in NAB Avenfield properties reference at the Accountability Court, Nawaz Sharif said electricity production had increased in Pakistan and national economy had been moving forward rapidly.
“I thank Allah for the successful completion of New Airport project,” he said.
The former prime minister said he had held talks with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi regarding the interim setup.
Nawaz Sharif also said he would consult his lawyer if they could file a petition for the live telecast of Court proceedings?
Earlier Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar arrived at the Accountability Court for hearing of Avenfield properties reference against Sharif family
The Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir would resume the hearing while Nawaz Sharif’s Counsel Khawaja Haris would continue cross-examination of Wajid Zia.
