ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Senator Asif Kirmani has said that the prime minister and the opposition leader nominate the interim setup through consultations, adding that they should wait and see which name Syed Khursheed Shah suggests.
While talking to media men outside the Accountability Court in Islamabad on Monday, Asif Kirmani said that the mandate of the interim government is written in the Constitution.
Senator Asif Kirmani said that the mandate of the interim government is to hold free and fair general elections and then leave.
Separately talking to media outside the Accountability Court, the PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi said that the people of Rawalpindi have rejected Imran Khan, calling the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) a stranger who visited Rawalpindi yesterday to address various PTI membership camps.
Hanif Abbasi said that after five years Imran Khan along with Rawalpindi’s Lalu Prasad (Sheikh Rasheed) was roaming around in the streets but no one heard Imran Khan.
The PML-N leader said that the institutions and agencies must investigate that how Imran Khan has become owner of Rs 1.5 billion from 2.5 million?
Hanif Abbasi said that the people who have served and did a lot of work in Punjab are said to have done nothing. He said that Imran Khan should tell us that how the destiny of this Country will be changed?
