MECCA, Saudi Arabia: Prime Minister Imran Khan along with wife Bushra Maneka performed Umrah in Mecca late Thursday night.
On the occasion, the door of Kaaba was exclusively opened for the prime minister and his delegation.
The delegation offered Nawafil inside the Kaaba, and prayed for Pakistan’s sovereignty, Kashmir and the entire Ummah.
The prime minister accompanied by his delegation consisting of the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, his Adviser on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, his Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari and the Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood is in Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit.
Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a meeting and exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and global political situation.
They also discussed matters pertaining to mutual interest, trade, investment and economic relations. They expressed their desire to further enhance and diversify bilateral cooperation between the two Countries.

The prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to stand by Saudi Arabia in case of any threat to sanctity or security of Harmain Shareefain.
Imran Khan also informed the Saudi King about the latest situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Saudi King Shah Salman expressed his long standing support and solidarity on the Kashmir issue.
