ISLAMABAD: More than 200,000 Internet Protocol Addresses (IPs) have been blocked as part of a drive against illegal telecom traffic, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said in a statement on Saturday.
The authority said that 1382 mobile phone SIMs, 3160 phones and other gadgets involved in illegal telecom traffic have also been blocked.
Furthermore, several persons have been arrested allegedly involved in the business of illegal calls after conducting raids in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
