PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Candidate Inam Ullah won the Mathra Mayoral Election in Peshawar held on Sunday comprehensively, defeating all rivals including those belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat Uleme-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F).
Inam Ullah of PTI secured 20,333 votes whereas JUI-F’s Rafi Ullah stood second with 13,564 votes.
The PML-N’s Candidate Fazal Ullah managed to bag merely 3,351 votes.
Meanwhile, the PTI leadership congratulated the party workers and supporters for inflicting humiliating defeat on the political rivals in the Mathra Mayoral Election in Peshawar on Sunday which further solidified the truth that the PTI was truly undefeatable political force.
Chairman Imran Khan had predicted this in his speech last week:
“مجھے گرفتار کر لیں پھر بھی تحریک انصاف کا امیدوار جیتے گا”.
Today’s Local Govt Elections in KP only reinforces his stance and proves that after Allah, the true power lies with the citizens.#PTISMT pic.twitter.com/RkoGmxJmn3
