ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) lawmaker Riaz Fatyana on Tuesday unveiled his decision to quit his party after what he described as his reservations were not addressed by PML-Q leadership, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
“I have informed the party leadership about my decision to part ways with the PML-Q,” Fatyana told media persons outside the Parliament House. “Party leadership doesn’t have time to address my reservations,” he said.
In reply to a question, Fatyana said that he might take part in the upcoming elections as an independent candidate.
“I am not immediately joining any party. My voters will decide whether to join or any party or take contest polls independently,” he said.
