RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Several terrorists were killed as Pakistan military fighter jets pounded their hideouts at Rajgal Valley of Khyber agency last night, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.
In a statement, the ISPR said that the air strikes were carried out on a tip-off about the presence of the leadership of outlawed Lashkar-i-Islam (LI) including its Chief Mangal Bagh in the area.
The IPSR said that several militant hideouts were destroyed in the aerial strikes at Rajgal Valley.
Meanwhile, terrorists from across the Afghan border attempted physical attack on Frontier Corps (FC) Post in Khyber Agency.
The ISPR said that Pakistani troops effectively responded to the attack, killing six terrorists. However, two FC soldiers embraced Shahadat in the exchange of fire with attackers.
