KARACHI: The Sindh government on Thursday removed all own pay scale (OPS) officers of the provincial police department including Karachi’s police chief AIGP Shahid Hayat while posted Ghulam Qadir Thebo as the new city police chief.
The provincial government took the initiative on the directives of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The officers removed from their posts included four additional IGs and four DIGs.
