PESHAWAR: A US drone fired two missiles which hit a compound and a vehicle in Dargah Mandi village in Miranshah tehsil of the North Waziristan tribal region on early Wednesday, killing at least six militants.
The sources said that the identities of those killed in the strike have not yet been ascertained.
The latest drone strike occurred when the Pakistan army has launched a comprehensive military operation against the militants in North Waziristan. A total of at least 187 suspected militants and eight soldiers have reportedly been killed since the operation was launched.
