Suzuki is one of the top four companies in the production of two-wheelers. The demand for two-wheelers is quite high in Asia due to congested roads, heavy traffic and people’s affordability. However, due to the increase e in fuel prices and the environmental crisis, fuel-powered bikes and scooters are discouraged. So, the Suzuki Electric scooter will launch soon.

As all the competitors are moving to electric vehicles, Suzuki is not staying back. It has started working on its e-Burgman electric scooter in Japan. The test session of this electric scooter will begin from April till June. The company will begin testing this new addition to its lineup at Suzuki World Setagaya Minami. It will include several units at the Meguro, Shinagawa, Otu, and Minato areas of Tokyo, Japan.

Suzuki electric scooter is going to be the pioneer to bring an all-electric two-wheeler from the Japanese automaker. The company is launching this test to attain data for further developments. The company will use the collected data for personal as well as commercial use. So only 8 units of Suzuki e-Burgman will be launched for testing.

Suzuki electric scooter will have an exchangeable battery pack that was developed by Honda. Moreover, Suzuki will also utilise the Gachao Charging station that was established by Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha to provide a charging station for all-electric two-wheelers.

It is going to be a city scooter because it is expected to provide a range of 44 kilometres on a full charge. While being a good commute option for urban areas, it is also a safe ride for everyone. The speed limit is not too high so every age group can easily ride it. It offers 5.4hp and 18Nm.

Currently, Suzuki is launching the test ride of 8 e-Burgamn electric scooters in Japan only. Later the two-wheeler will arrive in India and other European states before spreading all across the world. Moreover, after the success of this Suzuki electric scooter, Suzuki will also move forward to producing more electric two-wheelers.
