LAHORE: Leader of Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) Dr. Tahirul Qadri on Monday announced mass rallies from 15th Feb in ‘second phase’ of his ‘revolutionary struggle’ aimed at electoral reforms in Pakistan, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
The “Inqalab Marches” would be organized in six cities – Rawalpinid, Faisalabad, Multan, Sukkur, Peshawar and Gujranwala, Qadri told reporters during a press conference.
“This is initial stage of our revolution’s second phase,” Qadri said. “Our movement is meant for the rights of 18 million oppressed people. Our struggle created awareness among masses and this is why the government assured implementation of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution in general elections.”
