ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said those who left Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) didn’t have background of the ruling party.

On Monday, eight dissenting PML-N lawmakers including six members of National Assembly and two members of Punjab Assembly parted ways with the ruling party, announcing the launch of a mass movement to make Southern Punjab a Separate Province.

Holding informal talks at the Accountability Court in Islamabad today, Nawaz Sharif said those who left PML-N, perhaps they had certain revelation. He said such people brought bad name to politics.

Nawaz Sharif said Lodhran by-election took the turn of 180 degrees, adding Lodhran by-election expressed trust upon their developmental projects.

The former prime minister said the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif did record developmental works in South Punjab.

The PML-N Quaid said entry of a person like Imran khan in politics was not a good omen.

Furthermore, he said missing persons was the biggest issue of the Country. He said to make someone missing was a major crime.

Talking to media at the Accountability Court, the PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz said why only they had to go through the accountability process after every 10 years.

Maryam Nawaz said those who didn’t work like Asif Ali Zardari and Imran khan were never brought under accountability or asked anything. She said those who did developmental works had to appear before the Court. She said such decisions created anarchy in the Country.
