PESHAWAR: A three-day relaxation has been given in curfew from Wednesday (today) in part of the North Waziristan tribal region, where a full-scale military operation against the militants is underway.
The sources said that the curfew will remain relax from 5 am to 7 pm during these three days.
Meanwhile, the people of Mir Ali and Razmak have been asked to vacate their areas and shift to safe places today, while the residents of Miranshah and Ghulam Khan will shift to safe places tomorrow and tribesmen of Datta Khel day after tomorrow.
The evacuations come in the wake of the launching of military operation ‘Zarb-i-Azb’ against Taliban militants in the tribal region. A total of at least 187 suspected militants and eight soldiers have reportedly been killed since Saturday night when the operation was launched.
